New for the 24/25 season, the Stockli Montero AR promises versatility on groomers, slush, and chop. The Montero AR has all the stability and smoothness of a GS ski while maintaining agility and easy handling for all-mountain performance.
This playful do-it-all ski uses wave-shaped slits in the Titanal, plus rocker at the tip and tail for easier handling and stable, mid to long-radius turns. Featuring a slightly wider waist width at 84mm, the athletic Montero AR is more all-mountain oriented while maintaining its 5-star qualities on-piste. The addition of flex torsion control ensures an incredibly smooth ride with seamless transitions. Since torsion rigidity is adjusted based on the vibration, you get the precise flexibility you want in every snow condition.
- Adaptive Contact Length: The widest point of the shovel is set further forward. With a slight rocker, the more the ski is tilted, the further forward the contact point of the edge with the snow moves. This keeps the ski nimble without sacrificing stability.
- Tail Rocker: A longer rocker at the tail with a flatter radius creates a more playful feel with an enhanced edge grip.
- Flex Torsion Control: An S-shaped notch in the aluminum at the shovel and tail of the ski offers softer flex and torsion at the front and rear. As a result, it is easier to initiate turns and remain in control.
- Light Core and Super Light Core: Lightweight European wood is used in the core to make the ski softer while increasing durability and response.
- Full Edge Contact: The widest points of the ski are set further forward in the tip and back in the tail. This allows the ski to grip quicker and extends the edge contact when engaged.
- Bindings: Salomon Strive 13D (not pictured)
