ATK Candy 5 Youth AT Bindings 2022

The ATK Candy 5 is an ultralight alpine touring tech binding designed for kids! What was once nothing more than a pipedream for backcountry moms and dads is now a reality! The ATK Candy 5 is full performance, tech insert, touring binding for the lightest of riders. 

At just 280 grams (including length adjustment, brakes, and crampon mounts,) the Candy 5 is incredibly lightweight and because of that, perfect for young skiers making their first ascents. While we know kids love to ski down hills, we also know that lots of kids don't like to walk up them. Thanks to its lightweight construction and intuitive design, the Candy 5 is the ideal tool for getting your little ones into the backcountry. The binding is solidly built and extremely easy to use. With a release range of 1.5-5, ATK recommends this binding for users under 90 lbs. 

It's not just the lightweight and low-release settings that make the ATK Candy 5 a fantastic kid's binding. The Candy 5 also comes with lots of kid-friendly features. Thanks to soft springs and a large front lever, the bindings ‘Carbon’ toe-piece is designed for easy use without excessive parental guidance. Thanks to the CAM release system, the bindings are especially easy to clip into, even for the lightest of kids. The binding also comes with a long 50mm adjustment range. This makes those growing feet much less of a headache as the ATK Candy 5 will fit 5 boot sizes of growth without needing a remount!
